Getting Started
Measuring for drapes is easy!
To begin, measure the width of your drapery rod not including the finials.
If you do not have a rod installed, measure the width of your window including the trim, then add another four to six inches. This will give you an estimate for your final rod width.
For example, if your window measures 36 inches wide, you would estimate your rod to be about 40 to 42 inches wide.
Selecting a Drapery Width
If your rod width is between 34 inches and 44 inches, order the drapery width below:
Single Window (for windows up to 42 inches wide)
If your rod width is between 80 inches and 90 inches, order the drapery width below:
Double Window (for windows up to 84 inches wide)
Following these suggestions will ensure that your drapes cover your window completely and still provide plenty of fullness.
Custom Widths
If your rod width is between 45 inches and 79 inches, or if your rod width is wider than 90 inches you may need drapes made to a custom width.
